BioClave Digital Bench-Top Autoclave 16L 230V

Steam sterilization of research tools and consumables is convenient and affordable with the

BioClave digital research autoclaves. With a width of under 18″ (14″ for the Mini) both models will fit

comfortably on even the most crowded benchtop. Despite the space saving exterior dimensions, the

stainless steel sterilization chambers are surprisingly large accommodating a variety of liquids,

media, instruments, glassware, plasticware and other common laboratory items. Both models include

a mechanical and electrical safety interlock that prevents the door from opening until the pressure has

reached zero PSI. Trays are supplied with each unit (3 standard, 2 with Mini) along with a convenient

tray removal tool.
With large digital displays and fully automatic operation, all segments of the sterilization cycle (fill,

sterilize, exhaust and dry) complete simply by pressing the start button. For the BioClave 16 only, an

optional thermal mini printer is available to provide a record of sterilization parameters.

BioClave 16 Autoclave:
This 16L unit offers three cycle options (standard programs) which are preset for the sterilization of

liquids, wrapped instruments or unwrapped plasticware or instruments. A “Dry Only” option is also

available for additional drying time added to the end of a cycle. For special applications requiring

variations in cycle parameters, all settings on this unit are fully adjustable.

BioClave MIni AutoClave:
This 8L unit is preprogrammed to meet basic sterilization needs. Although the temperature can be

selected at either 121 or 134°C, the sterilization time is fixed. It is the ideal choice wherever space is

limited.
