Cervix Examination Simulator Set ESP-ZKK-488-C

A model of the external female genitalia manufactured from a soft, lifelike plastic, with a set of six interchangeable cervix simulations. The cervix simulations are inserted into the model to allow the student to practice measuring the cervix prior to birth.

The Cervix Examination Simulator Set stages are:

• no dilatation
• 2cm dilatation with 50% effacement
• 2cm with 100% effacement
• 5cm with 100% effacement
• 7cm with 100% effacement
• 9cm with 100% effacement

Because of the lifelike nature of the materials used, the model should be treated with the care accorded to a real subject, adding extra value to the model as a teaching aid.

The Cervix Examination Simulator Set may also be used with theFetal Head Simulator.

The Fetal Head Simulator can be inserted into the rear of the Cervix Examination Simulator and the position of the head can be ascertained by finger insertion and the fontanelles palpated.

The head obviously does not pass through the cervix examination model as it would do during birth process.
